Call for abstracts

For what concerns publications

Some of you indicated that they fear that having a paper presented at the conference and included in the proceedings with a DOI will prevent them from submitting the paper to a Peer Reviewed Journal. This is clearly wrong: there is a clear distinction between a “Proceeding” and a “Publication” where you have to go through a tough Peer Reviewing process, anonymous, with reasonable chances to be rejected. Such Journals ask for “original” material never published before, and precisely a Proceeding is not a Publication, so there is no problem.

For your information, this is the standard process with any large congress: for instance, Acta Astronautica publishes every year hundreds of papers coming from the proceedings of the International Astronautical Congress IAC; same with the JSSE publications coming from IAASS congress, the two CEAS Journals with papers presented at the AEC conference, or of course the AIAA peer reviewed publications.

Abstract Submission

You are invited to submit a 500-word abstract until March 15th, 2022: Deadline to submit or modify an existing submission.

Important: If you had submitted a contribution earlier, you have the possibility to modify your text, update the file, add co-authors and/or submit additional contributions. To proceed, don’t need to fiil in a new submission form, but just log onto your profile page with your last name and the reference you received already (i.e.: EUCASS-XXXXXX). If you missed it, just ask us.

The questions of intellectual property concern the only responsibility of the submitter.
All submissions will be open access to all queries, whether from conference participants or not.
All submissions (PDF format) must be made online from the web site.

If you are submitting multiple contributions, you just need to create only one web account.
Please use the same account (login and password) for any additional submissions.

If you need to edit any author information or re-submit your contribution, you may do so until the submission deadline.
Please use the account you created during initial submission to edit or re-submit.

Abstracts sent by email will NOT be accepted.

Paper submission

Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to prepare a full 10/15-page paper.
Papers effectively presented and submitted in due time will receive a DOI number, will be published in the conference proceedings with their assigned DOI and will be fully available via open access.
All papers will be open access to all queries, whether from conference participants or not.
Depending on topics, Special Issues of Acta Astronautica may be considered.
